For the Wacko’s (Sunday kickball team) off season we have a marathon of happy hours. The Wacko’s ladies decided we didn’t want to wait for the guy’s a.k.a Scott G. to get his shit together to get the happy hours started so we were going to have ladies HH to ourselves. We decided on Capitol City Brewing Co. downtown DC. Of course I had to order the wings while at happy hour, how could I not. They have a number of flavor choices which are: classic BBQ, teriyaki, atomic hot, golden BBQ, or naked. Tammy W. and I decided we would split an order of the classic BBQ. When the wings came out I was not disappointed in their size however I would not order this flavor again. The BBQ sauce was very sweet and overly gooey with a sense of pepper in the sauce to give it the BBQ flavor. The overly gooey wings did not give good flavor but instead just left the wings overly saturated and soggy. The flavors of these wings were not my favorite and would not choose to order them again since they have other flavors to choose from. I will go back and have HH again here since they have a decent drink selection and serve warm soft pretzels for free! FAIR
