UNO Chicago Grill

Union Station

FAIR

Sometimes it is great having my office near Union Station because there is a number of restaurants and food court inside, but sometimes it is a sad scene with a lack of wing representation. Tatiana, Baily and I decided it would be a good idea to go to Uno’s for lunch since they have pretty decent lunch specials including a bottomless soup bowl. I was tempted by the bottomless soup but of course was drawn to the wing appetizer. They have their wings sold as “Wings any 3 Ways” allowing you to get all of one kind or up to 3 different kinds in one serving. The flavor options of wings that are offered are: Traditional Buffalo, Buffalo Garlic and Romano, Honey Barbeque, Asian or Tangy Uno’s Wowza Sauce. You can also order your wings by weight but I decided to go the wings any 3 ways. The three flavors I ordered were:

1. Traditional Buffalo- the wings were okay but definitely a fair by my standards. They were pretty weak in heat and were also soggy when they came out. I really hate soggy wings

2. Buffalo Garlic and Romano- This wing would probably be the wing I ordered again since it was different and I can’t really compare the flavor to another wing I have. They were also okay but still would receive a fair rating by my standards. The sauce was okay and you could definitely taste the garlic but the wings were soggy again.

3. Tangy Uno’s Wowza Sauce- I really wanted these wings to knock my socks off and really get my blood boiling but instead it was an epic let down. How can you name your wing “WOWZA SAUCE” and have it taste like nothing. There was no wowza that I could taste and also these wings were soggy… such a disgrace!
