FAIR
The Blaguard is one of those bars you go to where everyone knows your name. Literally the bartenders, the patrons, drunk guy on the corner… it just kinda feels like home. I frequent there when I am playing “social” sports, aka drinking and playing some sort of “sport”. When playing on a social sports league I always get a craving for a whiskey drink and some wings… ohhhhhhh yeah! So of course when the new season started up, game one I had to order myself a whiskey and an order of buffalo wings. The drink quenched my thirst as usual, how can it not? When the wings came there were plenty and they were a good size wing, not some shitty small ass baby wing. I was also pleased to see that they had more flats that drummies just a random lucky plate I got and plenty of celery. On the other hand the wings themselves were okay. They were not too great in the realm of the wing world. The buffalo sauce that the Blaguard uses isn’t hot and I would call them a mild wing. I would never say their wings were terrible but they are not first on my Adams Morgan wing list. As the wings got a little cold they kind of hardened up which is a little odd and I have never really experienced that before. I thought Kate LW would have loved them because they got all hard and crispy in a sense but she even turned her nose up to them. In the long run I will be trying them again and will hope for the best but they won’t be too high of hopes.
