Grand Lux Cafe (Las Vegas, NV)

EXCELLENT

PALAZZO Resort Hotel Casino

I know this is a wing blog for wings I eat while in the metropolitan area of DC, I do venture out sometimes. On this occasion I traveled to the far away land of Las Vegas, Nevada for a work convention and while there I just knew I would be trying some wings. One of the nights I was there Kelly L her boyfriend Ben and I had dinner with Kevin M and Becky C. Grand Lux Café was the dinner of choice since they have an extensive menu in which everyone can get what they want. I was stoked to see on their menu that they had wings under “things to share.” The flavors that are listed at Gran Lux Café are: Spicy Buffalo, Thai Sticky-Hot Chili or Korean Spicy BBQ. We wanted to go with something different so for the table we decided to get an order of Thai Sticky-Hot Chili Wings. When the wings came to the table my eyes almost popped right out my head in pure delight, they were ALL flats! Kevin on the other hand prefers the drum side of wings and was not as pleased. Kelly was a good trooper and just as happy for me since she knows how passionate I am for wings and especially the flats! I would rate these wings as being pretty darn delicious in my book. They were a decent sized, meaty wing and crispy when served. The sauce that covered the wing was definitely sticky and sweet with a slight spicy tang but not overbearing and not so much sauce that it made the crispy wing turn soggy. I give Grand Lux Café extra kudos since they served me all flats! Yum! I would recommend ordering these if you are in Vegas or at another one of their establishments. EXCELLENT
