Mad Hatter- WTF!

NO WINGS :o(

So I went to Mad Hatter during the slush storm because I thought it would be a good idea to gather some friends and use some Groupons in the bad weather. We were secretly hoping that the slush storm would bring in no work the next day. We were all sour the next day when we had to go in with our hangovers in tow to work the following morning. When we got the bar we were easily enticed by the buy one get one free appetizers. I of course, like promised in my previous blog write-up ,went to order the “SMOKED” wings. This is how the conversation went:
Angie: I would like to order the smoked wings
Waiter: we are all out of the smoked wings
Angie: Again?!
Waiter: Well I don’t think we are going to carry them anymore
Angie: Whoa, whoa, whoa… what do you mean? It says right HERE (pointing with a stern finger) smoked wings on the menu and I want them I came all the way in the slush just for THESE wings!
Waiter: (sweat bead starting to form on his forehead) oh um sorry but we are printing new menus and have a new wing vendor
Angie: wing VENDOR! Wait a minute, you don’t make the wings here some other person smoked them and brought them in? That just sounds terrible… I don’t think I would have wanted them anyways… geez now what do I want…
Waiter: well the bruschetta is good?
Angie: ughh nahh
Becca S: I will have the bruschetta please
Angie: damn all I freakin wanted was the smoked wings now all I have is crushed dreams (with a sad face on) I will get the calamari… I had the Buffalo wings last time.

And just an FYI to everyone out there their online menu still reads “Chicken wings- choice of BBQ, Buffalo, or Smoked” come on Mad Hatter step up the game and update the menu!
