Hey I had the buffalo wings at Maddie's Bar and Grille on Conn. Ave near the Johnny Rockets in Dupont. I thought they were very good. They are .50 a wing after 2pm on Sundays I believe.

Angie,

I just discovered your website through a mutual friend, and I must say thank you! I'm a big fan of wings myself, and, I've been talking to my friends about creating a website similar to yours for a year and a half or so now, but, just never did so. I'm glad that someone did! Washington NEEDED a website such as yours, and I'm glad we have it now.

On the topic at hand, may I suggest two locations to you:

Chics n' Wings, Tyson's Corner (off of Route 7). It's located right next to the mall, in an old Pizza Hut location. I've only been there a handful of times, but the wings are delicious, and they have some VERY unique flavors that I've only seen a few places, or not at all (feta cheese, for example). They also have a cilantro flavor that is amazing, as well as a Thai flavor that is very good as well.

-Buffalo Wings & Beer (Gaithersburg, MD; Leesburg, VA, amongst other area locations): I've never eaten at a location of this restaurant per se, but, my best friend and I attended the National Buffalo Wing Festival last year over Labor Day weekend in Buffalo, and this place won the first place prize, and it was well deserved! Their cilantro flavor was amazing, and very distinctive, with a great flavor and bite to it. The "weed wings" were very unique and tasty as well.

Please feel free to email me back if you'd like to, and we can discuss further. Personally, at least in the DC area, I'd have to say my favorite wings that I've tried are at Hard Times Cafe (I have 2 locations right near me, it's hard to beat!). The least favorite that I've tried are at Union Jack's in Bethesda.
