O’Laughlin’s Restaurant located in Arnold, MD, better known by the locals and the frequent eaters/drinkers as O’s is a local restaurant and bar located between the Bay Bridge and Annapolis. Their key location makes them have key knowledge of what a great Maryland style wing should be. I drove all the way from D.C. to try their MD style wings which I have heard are really good. On their menu they offer a variety of wings which include: plain, mild, medium, hot, x-hot, suicidal, BBQ, honey BBQ, MD cooked with butter, and MD cooked not in butter. The suicide wings come with a warning that states “they cost extra ($1.00) and are more than just HOT!! Order at your own risk.” That statement is very tempting for my NEXT CHALLENGE: I want to take a trip down to Arnold, MD whether it be just to go to the restaurant or to be a day trip to downtown Annapolis, or maybe even a day at the beach… good ole Sandy Point State Park. Then after our little excursion we, whoever is brave enough, can head over to O’s for the SUICIDAL wings! Let me know if you are down for this challenge or not.

As far as the wings I already ate at O’s I ordered the Maryland style cooked in butter, FLATS only! O’s allowed me to order flats only, there was an extra charge of $1.00 but it was worth it since the flats are the best part of the wing… no drummies here! I got the wings to go and they were perfect! All hot and steamy definitely cooked in a buttery goodness then covered in a perfect spicy crab seasoning, not a covered up hot pepper mix. O’s knows how to make the best MD style wings since they are right in the middle of crab central and they have aces to the best crab seasoning ingredients to make the best Maryland Style wings! I would definitely recommend these wings and can’t wait to go back for the SUICIDE challenge!
