FAIR

Most people might see the name of this carryout place and never even think to look to see if they have wings. I on the other hand will judge them if they don’t offer wings! This Chinese carry out place which also has a large American food selection offer two types of wings you can order: Buffalo Wings and Chicken Wings. You can order as little as 3 pieces or as many as 50 pieces. Three Chicken wings will cost you $3 but if you get 50 they are $36.95 (saves you money to buy in bulk!). You can get Buffalo Wings that will cost 5 pieces for $2.75 or up to 30 pieces for $12.95. I decided I am not going to discriminate and I will order BOTH. Since I have done this before( I know I know) I knew that Chinese places that sell their style of chicken wings sell the entire chicken wings as a whole, piece as if you were getting fried chicken. I ordered 5 pieces of Chicken Wings and 10 pieces of Buffalo wings which I total would be 20 pieces of wings if you broke the “chicken” wing down.

The Chicken Wings were whole chicken wings as I assumed and were pretty much a just fried chicken served with a side of sweet and sour sauce. The same sauce you would get if you ordered sweet and sour chicken. They are good if you like fried chicken but the sauce is really sweet. I like to add some sriracha sauce to my wings and turn these fried chicken wings into a hot wing. The Buffalo wings were so NOT a buffalo wing. I feel like I should stop by their establishment and anonymously drop off the definition of a buffalo wing is supposed to be. Don’t advertise “buffalo” wing if they are a chicken wing that is sweet! Don’t get me wrong they are pretty good and I would totally get them again but it really throws you off when you order a buffalo wing thinking it is going to be hot and spicy and the wings come all sweet and sticky. Oh well I guess I can’t assume that every Chinese/American take-out place will have amazing wings, when in the perfect I wish I lived in they all should!

Since it is a Chinese place, they could have at least added some kung pao hot sauce or something to make it spicy! Sheesh.
